School’s in Session
The historic Independence Schoolhouse, built in 1909, is now home to our tasting room. In many ways though, it’s still a place of learning. Enjoy award-winning wines, play a game of bocce ball, or simply sit back and soak in the rows of lush vineyard vines set against the backdrop of the gorgeous Santa Lucia mountains.

Bottle Service
Looking to share a bottle with friends or enjoy a glass instead of a tasting? We offer select wines for purchase by the glass, or you’re welcome to purchase a bottle to enjoy at one of our picnic tables. Picnic lunches are welcome on non-food truck days.

Sunset Hours
Introducing Sunset Hours at Baileyana!
We’re thrilled to launch our brand-new Sunset Hours- extended evening hours at the winery! Beginning June 6th, we’ll be staying open later on Fridays and Saturdays, giving the perfect chance to unwind, sip your favorite wines, and take in the stunning sunset views over the vineyard.
On Fridays from 1-5 PM, we’ll also be featuring local food vendors to complement your experience.
Out of respect for our vendors, outside food will not be permitted on days when a vendor is on site.
